The Find

In my last post I showed you my shelling spot, here are just a few of the shells I found. So many shapes, colors, sizes, and textures. Shells are one off my favorite mediums to work with.

First I wash them in a dish washing liquid and as I am washing them I  am sorting.

Once the shells are dry, they are each carefully sorted by type and size. They are then placed in a plastic shoe box that has one of its shells glued to the outside for easy grabbing.

Now with all these beautiful shells it's time to get creative. Here is one of my mirrors, it's almost finished!
