Winter-Beachy
Grab your tools, supplies and a friend
and let's get creative.
Supplies:
glue and glue gun, florist wire, wire cutters,
needle nose pliers, three starfish, three sand dollars
one grapevine wreath, a six foot swag of greenery,
a fern, a textured greenery, a small flower stem,
something to cover your work space.
Separate and cut your flowers, textured greenery
and fern so that you have multiple stems of each.
Set them aside.
Using your florist wire make a
hanger on the back of your grapevine wreath.
Now place your swag onto your grapevine
wreath. Cut a piece of florist wire long
enough to go around your wreath three times.
Secure your wire to the back of your wreath.
Start wrapping your wire around the greenery and your wreath.
Try to work the wire into the grapevine so that
your wire it is not easily seen.
This takes a little while. Just take your time.
Have a sip or two of coffee as you vistit with your friend
and enjoy the process.
Once your swag is secure it is time to add
your fern. Place your fern pieces around your wreath.
Once you have them where you want them
pull each one out of the wreath one at a time.
Place a little bit of hot glue on the end of the stem.
Place it back into its spot.
Continue doing this
until you have all of your fern glued onto your wreath.
Using the same method as you did with the fern,
place your textured greenery onto your wreath.
Then add your small flowers.
Glue on your starfish and sand dollars.
"It's as easy as that!"
Thanks Linda, your wreath turned out great!
