October 2010 The Hunters Moon

It is said that Native Americans called Octobers full moon The Hunters Moon.
They would track and kill their prey in the bright autumn moon light.
This moon light helped the Native Americans stockpile their food for the winter ahead.
The Hunter's Moon is also known as
The Blood Moon or The Sanguine Moon.
