Tuesdays Tips and Tools - Goodbye Snails and Slugs

 My small herb garden has
been growing very well, until just recently.
I went out to pick some of my basil
only to find some one has been chomping on it.
Here is a safe way to rid
your herb garden of slugs and snails.
After you have cracked your morning eggs,
 set them aside.
Wash your eggshells with warm soapy water and set
them on a paper towel to dry.
Once your eggshells are dry,
 crack them into smaller pieces.
Scatter the shells around the base of
your plants. This should detour the
slugs and snails from eating your plants
because they do not like the
sharp edges of the shells.
