Fiber Painting-Sunrise on Useppa

I am always inspired by sunrises and sunsets.

Everyone so beautiful and yet all so different.

With their inspiration comes a longing to try new things.
I have always had the desire to paint but to be very honest
 I'm chicken!

After taking many photographs and longing
 to one day get up the courage to paint one of these
amazing sunrises.

 I believe I

have found a way that I can paint.

This is painted with a needle and wool fibers.
Not really paint, but it works for me
 because I can feel what I see
and manipulate the fibers.
This was a lot of fun and very addicting.
 I will be trying this again.
